It is strongly suggested that you stay overnight in Cancun before and after your stay in Holbox to ensure you do not miss your flight. It is a 3-hour drive from Cancun to Chiquila (where ferry is located). The last ferry from Chiquila to Holbox departs at 6pm and first ferry from Holbox back to Chiquila is at 10am.
