Clarion Hotel Amon Plaza offers the following restaurant: El Cafetal de la Luz - The first electric plant was installed in the small and cozy Barrio Amón (Amon Neighborhood), in the midst of coffee plantations, next to the Torres River. On August 9th, 1884 San José became the third city in the world and the first one in Latin America illuminated by electric energy, after New York and Paris. This was a novelty that attracted both nationals and foreigners who visited the place they called "Cafetal de la Luz" this historical place is the same place where you can enjoy delicious international cuisine.
