Room Categories and Descriptions - Kahala Hotel & Resort Room amenities include TV, phone, mini-bar, hairdryer, clock radio, refrigerator, his and hers dressing areas, dressing robes and slippers, in-room movies, make-up mirrors, assorted natural toiletries, nightly turn-down service, CD players, iron/ironing board. One roll-away bed per room or suite available for a fee. Children Policy: Children 17 and under are free of charge, when sharing room with 2 paying adults, using existing bedding. Maximum Occupancy: 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. Gardenview - Approximately 550 square feet. Located in the Dolphin Lagoon Wing facing the Ko'olau Mountain Ridge by day and the glittering neighborhood lights by night while overlooking the private golf course. Glass sliding doors open up to a patio for relaxing on lounge chairs with view of the resort's tropical gardens. Four-poster king bed or two double bed rooms available. Rooms feature over-sized bathroom with dual wardrobe closets, 2 separate vanity areas, separate glass shower and deep-soaking bathtub with coconut bath salts. Working desk. Floor to ceiling glass windows allow tropical breezes and Hawaiian style plantation shutters to filter natural sunlight. Ridgeview - Approximately 550 square feet. Rooms are located in the Diamond Head, Koko Head and Dolphin Lagoon wings and offers picturesque views of the Ko'olau Mountain Ridge that was once a volcano which helped form the island of Oahu. This side of the building has the advantage of northern trade winds. Same sleeping accommodations as Gardenveiw. This room comes with either a balcony or no balcony. Oceanview Diamond Head - Approximately 550 square feet. Located in the Diamond Head Wing overlooking the Pacific Ocean with panoramic views to the famous Diamond Head landmark. Same sleeping accommodations as Gardenview and Ridgeview. This room comes with either a balcony or no balcony. Dolphin Lagoon View with Balcony - Approximately 550 square feet. Located in the tropical setting of the two-story Dolphin Lagoon Wing, these rooms overlook the home of the tropical fish and playful resident Atlantic Bottlenose dolphins. Same sleeping arrangements as previous room categories. Oceanview Prime Koko Head - Approximately 550 square feet. Enjoy panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean and famous landmarks Koko Head and Diamond Head craters. Rooms with balcony allows guests additional views of Dolphin Lagoon, pool, tropical gardens and secluded ivory sand beach. Same sleeping arrangements. This room comes either with or without a balcony. Beachfront - Approximately 550 square feet. Located in the two-story Dolphin Lagoon Wing in a private, secluded area of the resort. 1st floor rooms open to an outdoor patio with direct access to the beach. 2nd floor rooms come with a private balcony overlooking Kahala's crescent-shaped ivory sand shoreline. Four-poster king bed or two double bed rooms available. These rooms are closest to the beach and feature over-sized bathroom with dual wardrobe closets, separate glass shower and deep-soaking bathtub with coconut bath salts. Glass sliding patio doors. Working desk. VCR. Partial Oceanview/Prime Oceanview Suite - Separate seating area and a choice of Four-Poster King or twin double beds. Beachfront 2 Bedroom Suite - Same as 1 bedroom, but with an additional bedroom. Governor 1 Bedroom Suite - This wonderful suite has a separate bedroom with a King size four-poster bed, a well furnished balcony, a bar and unobstructed views of the ocean and the Dolphin Lagoon below. Governor 2 Bedroom Suite - Same as 1 bedroom, but with an additional bedroom. Presidential 1 Bedroom Suite - Located on the top floor and has unobstructed, tropical views of the ocean and Dolphin Lagoon from its private, furnished balcony.
