Room Categories and Descriptions - La Costa Resort and Spa
Room amenities include 42-inch flat-screen televisions, plush terry robes, high-speed Internet access (extra fee), signature line of spa and bath products, telephones with voicemail, coffee and tea, mini bar, hairdryer, in-room safe, iron and ironing board. Roll-away beds and rental strollers are available on request for a fee. Cribs, diaper genies, playpens and high chairs are available on request for free.
Children Policy: Children 17 and under are free of charge, when sharing room with 2 paying adults.
Plaza Room - Located in the center of the property with convenient access to all amenities and services. Some rooms offer patios. This room is 425 square feet and has 2 queen beds or 1 king bed. View: Resort or Courtyard. Maximum Occupancy: 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.
Resort Room - This room is located along the golf course or near the tennis facilities. Some resort rooms offer balconies or patios. This room is 480 square feet and has 1 king bed or 2 queen beds. View: Golf Course or Courtyard or Tennis Courts or Gardens. Maximum Occupancy: 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.
Spa Room - This room offers either 1 king bed or 2 queen beds. Each room is located near the spa facility. This oversized room features a separate tub and shower in the marble bathroom and offers a vanity and dressing area. This room is 620 square feet. View: Gardens or Pool. Maximum Occupancy: 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.
La Costa Suite - Located along the first fairway of the North Golf Course. This oversized room has a separate sitting area and features a marble bathroom, vanity and separate tub and shower. This room is 662 square feet and has 1 king bed. View: Gardens or Golf Course. Maximum Occupancy: 2 adults.

BlueFire Grill - Cascading fountains, crackling firepits and toasty grills herald La Costa's newest eatery, the BlueFire Grill. The menu features exciting California Coastal Cuisine and signature cocktails, with world music and live entertainment setting a festive tone. Timber ceilings and a handblown glass fireplace wall will serve as the backdrop for an unforgettable meal indoors, while rustic firepits add warmth and a cheerful glow to seating on the outdoor patio.
Legends Bistro - Enticing California cuisine is served in this casually elegant bistro. Guests may choose to dine indoors or alfresco overlooking the lush fairways and rolling hills. Legends is open daily for breakfast and lunch and is open nightly for dinner except for Tuesday nights.
Spa Café - You can enjoy healthy fare and great taste too, thanks to the chefs at La Costa Resort and Spa. The al fresco Spa Café, nestled in the tranquil garden courtyard at the Spa, offers a convenient way to enjoy lunch, a snack, a smoothie, or a glass of wine during your spa day.

Splash Poolside Bar & Café - Enjoy a day at the pool, with refreshments provided by Splash Café. Splash is conveniently located at the Resort Pool, adjacent to the Family Pool, and features panoramic golf course views. The Splash menu includes a variety of sandwiches, salads, cocktails and sweet treats.
Children's Programs - La Costa Resort and Spa
Kidtopia - Here, youngsters can follow an activity path through a magical forest. Observe sea creatures in an “underwater” wonderland. Make crafts. Dance on an interactive lighted game floor. And much, much more. The beautifully designed, state-of-the-art center will keep kids happily occupied for hours on end in a fun-filled, secure environment. Land and sea elements stimulate young imaginations in three distinct conceptual areas for infants/toddlers, 2- to 4-year-olds, and 4- to 12-year-olds.
Vibz - An ultra-cool “mine” design may give it that underground vibe, but the action’s all above board at the exclusive new teen lounge. Designed to resemble the nearby Stewart Mine, trend-setting Vibes gives guests 10-years old and up a place of their own to kick back, make friends, and enjoy all the high-tech games and activities they crave. Open daily from 10am to 10pm. There is no entry fee for Vibz and games are available on a pay-per-play basis.
