Room Descriptions - Melia Caribe Tropical
Room amenities include ceiling fan and individually controlled air conditioning, furnished balcony or terrace, small fridge , hairdryer, iron and ironing board, internet (with charge), fully equipped bathroom with accessories, sofa, cable TV, telephone, minibar, safe (with charge), coffee & kettle.
Children Policy: Children's age break is 12 years old.
Deluxe Junior Suite - This spacious and tastefully decorated suite measuring 452sq ft offers views of the gardens and provides all the comforts of home. The brightly decorated suite comes with king size bed or two double beds on request on arrival at hotel. Large sliding glass doors lead onto the private terrace or balcony with views of the hotel gardens.
Family Deluxe Junior Suite - The ideal suite for enjoying vacations with all the family! Spacious suite measuring 452sq ft with views of the gardens or pool area. All the Family Deluxe Junior Suites come with king size bed or two double beds on request on arrival at the hotel, plus a sofa-bed and a rollaway bed or bunk beds. For greater fun and additional comfort, the suite includes children’s bed linen, a dividing curtain for extra privacy, and the bathroom has special children’s amenities, such as a little step to reach the sink and a Meliá Baby Kit. All the suites have sliding glass doors which lead onto the private terrace or balcony and allow greater natural light in.
Additional Family Suite Amenities include: PlayStation (games not included), Meliá Baby Kit (soap, bath toy, shampoo and bubble bath), set of drawers for children’s belongings, 2 cable TVs.
Romance Suite - Charming suites measuring 452sq ft with a privileged location (near beach and pool) and with a balcony or terrace with private patio with Bali bed and views of the gardens or pool area.
Romance suites enjoy the following additional amenities: 32 inch high definition flat screen cable TV, mini bar with amenities (replenished daily), double rain shower, terrace with sofa and private patio with Bali bed or private balcony with sofa, whirlpool bath for two in the room, in-room beach towels, bathrobe and slippers, king size bed.
The following suites enjoy Royal Service amenities which include: private check-in/out, pillow menu, private lounge access with free internet where continental breakfast, coffee, drinks and snacks are served all day, room service (from 7am to 11pm), butler service and concierge for reservations for spa, golf, water activities, tennis courts, amongst others and assistance for excursions, 'Gabi Club', exclusive bar, restaurant and entertainment with chill-out atmosphere. Exclusive use for royal service, transport to and from the Royal Service private beach.
Royal Beach Junior Suite - This extensive Royal Beach Suite boasts a private balcony and a whirlpool bathtub in the room with breathtaking views of the garden. Stylishly decorated, the suite is ideal for a romantic break with your partner. Measuring 452 sq ft with a king size bed and a privileged location (near the beach and the pool).
Additional Royal Beach Junior Suite amenities include: premium minibar with water, soft drinks and beer, luxury bathroom amenities, bathrobe and slippers, butler menu, pillow menu, aroma menu, whirlpool bath.
Master Suite Royal Service - These spacious and elegant suites measuring 417sq ft offer views of the pool area or the garden. Master suites come with sliding door in the bedroom for greater privacy, a 32 inch TV, a whirlpool bathtub and a plasma TV in the lounge. All the suites have a private terrace or balcony and a king size bed.
Additional Master Suite features include: Daily turn-down service, aroma menu, free internet, spa shower, connects to a Royal Service Deluxe Master Suite.
Master Suite Royal Service One Bedroom - These spacious and elegant suites measuring 818sq ft offer views of the pool area or the gardens and have an oversize bathroom, large fridge, and kitchen facilities. They also offer a lounge and dining area, as well as a private terrace or balcony. In addition to our regular amenities, guests in these suites also enjoy the most exclusive Royal Service facilities and services.
Additional Master Suite Royal Service One Bedroom features include: king size bed, large 2 door fridge with water, soft drinks and beers, connects to Royal Service Deluxe Master Suite, hydromassage.

Children's Programs - Melia Caribe Tropical
When you vacation at Melia Caribe Tropical, your children will have just as much fun as you will, maybe more! Just imagine a park created just for kids, with fun activities, imaginative games and a chance to hang out with The Flintstones.
For children ages 4-months to 4-years-old:
Baby Rock is for infants and toddlers and this club includes a sleeping area, kitchen and bathroom adapted to their size. (Childcare is available for babies at an extra cost.) Toddlers can participate in fun activities like arts and crafts, fantasy make-up, imaginative games, costumes, music workshops, puzzles, movies, story time, sensory stimulation and more.
For children ages 5- to 8-years-old:
Members of the Bamm-Bamm Club have their own game room and playground. Bamm-Bamm members participate in a variety of imaginative and stimulating activities, including pool games, camping, T-shirt painting, balloon art, even costume and magic workshops.
For children ages 9- to 13-years-old:
Roca Flash is for older children and features competitive outdoor activities such as pool games, camping, workshops and sports. At The Flintstones Land even mealtimes are an adventure. Kids can start the day by having Bronto Breakfast with Fred and Dino. For lunch there are 2 choices and both offer delicious and nutritious meals. Betty's Kitchen is the ultimate mealtime hangout. The kid-friendly Flintstones decor, designed by Betty herself, combined with tasty treats and a fun atmosphere, makes this unique eatery feel like home... but here, drawing on the tablecloths is encouraged! And at Fred's Bronto Burger, kids can sample a delicious Brontosaurus Hamburger.
