1.5 miles from Newcastle Airport, 9 miles from downtown Oualie Beach is a small beachfront hotel with only 33 rooms located on a sheltered cove on the leeward side of Nevis. The hotel is unique in that it has maintained its friendly, informal ambiance while providing the high standards and range of facilities and services that are normally associated with a larger resort. The rooms are scattered along the beach in single and two-story Gingerbread Cottages, each with a large, cool, screened veranda that offers an uninterrupted view of the beach and of St. Kitts over the water. Children Policy: Children 11 and under are free of charge, when sharing room with 2 paying adults. Deluxe - These rooms offer a choice of either a queen-size mahogany four-poster bed, perfect for the honeymooners, or two double beds. One can step out of the front door right onto the beach. Maximum Occupancy: 3 adults or 2 adults with 2 children. Studio - There are just three of these units at Oualie. They are equipped and located similarly to the Deluxe rooms with the exception that they have full kitchen facilities and all have a mahogany queen-size four-poster bed. The studios all have doors that can connect to adjacent deluxe rooms to form suites ideal for family groups. Maximum Occupancy: 3 adults or 2 adults with 2 children. Premier - These spacious rooms are luxuriously appointed with all mahogany furniture including a romantic king-size four-poster bed. The bathrooms are huge with a "his and hers" double sinks, granite vanity, and shower. These rooms are literally a few steps from the beach. Maximum Occupancy: 2 adults. Oualie Beach Hotel offers the following restaurant: The beachside restaurant serves Caribbean and continental cuisine at reasonable prices. Children are very welcome at Oualie and a children's menu is available. Live entertainment is featured two or more evenings a week. The bar area is very relaxed and serves as a casual watering hole for guests and residents of the island.
