Room amenities include private bathrooms with showers, ceiling fans, telephones with data ports, coffee machines, and refrigerators, and views of North Sound and the ocean beyond. The following amenities are complimentary based upon request and availability: alarm clocks, sewing kits, hairdryers, irons and boards (Televisions and VCRs North Sound Suites only). Children Policy: Bitter End Yacht Club is best suited for children over 5 years of age. Children 2-12 years of age incur, an additional fee, when sharing a room with their parents. North Sound Suites - Contemporary style rooms that offer air conditioning and private telephones. These suites are scattered across a flowered hillside rising high above the beach with panoramic views of the North Sound. Choice of one king bed or two queen beds. Maximum Occupancy: 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. Beachfront Villas - Caribbean style rooms that are naturally cooled and designed to catch the trade wind breeze. These villas are steps from the beach with private wrapped around verandas, hammocks and breath taking views of the North Sound and Atlantic Ocean. All villas have either twin beds or king-sized bed, large dressing area and shower with sea views, ceiling fan, refrigerator and coffee maker. Maximum Occupancy: 3 adults or 2 adults and 1 child. Live Aboard Yachts - The Freedom 30 yachts are berthed at the Quarterdeck Marina and are fully equipped for BVI cruising. They accommodate up to four people and receive full resort services and amenities while docked at BEYC. Fully equipped and provisioned galley, head with shower and pressure water, navigation station, diesel engine and easy to sail rig make the Freedom ideal for cruising and living aboard. Yacht-Villa Combination packages are also available, where guests spend nights ashore and nights afloat, cruising wherever they choose throughout the BVI. Maximum Occupancy: 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. Estate House - This two-bedroom cottage is a favorite of the Hokin Family--Bitter End's owners for 30 years! The cottage features stunning ocean and mountain views. Beautifully designed with a spacious dining area and wet bar, and complete with two and a half bathrooms. The Master bedroom features one-King bed and the guest bedroom features two-double beds. The Estate House can accommodate four adults and two children, with the addition of two roll-aways. Enjoy the oversized screened in porch and Sea View balcony area with a barbecue grill. All situated on a flowering hillside overlooking the activity of the resort and North Sound, and easily accessible by taxi via paved driveway. The Estate House is based on Quad occupancy. Maximum Occupancy: 4 adults or 4 adults and 2 children. Specific bedding and/or special requests are fulfilled based on availability and cannot always be guaranteed. The Bitter End Yacht Club offers the following restaurants: The Clubhouse Steak and Seafood Grille - The Clubhouse is Bitter Ends landmark restaurant and features generous buffets and table service for breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as cocktail service on the terrace all day and evening. The Clubhouse is near the Main Lobby. The English Carvery - This beautiful open-air restaurant, located on the south end of the property, is open for dinner during the Winter Season and for special evening events. Please inquire at the Reception Desk or consult your weekly schedule. The Carvery features salad served tableside, followed by a magnificent selection of roast meats and a local seafood dish on the buffet. Reservations are requested for the 6:30 and 8:30 seatings. The Almond Walk - Available for dinner certain evenings during the week, from 6:30-9:30pm. Please inquire at the Reception Desk or consult your weekly schedule. Reservations are required. The Bitter End Yacht Club offers the following bars: The Poolside Lunch & Bar Service - The bar is located at the south end of Bitter End, beside our freshwater pool. An entire day can be pleasantly spent by the pool with a light salad for lunch, and a cocktail late afternoon. Lunch is available from 12:15pm until 2pm every day except Sunday. (Closed September and October.) The Emporium Pub & Grill - For those wanting a snack during the day, rotisserie, pizza, chicken, hot-dogs and other items may be purchased in The English Pub, located at The Emporium, opposite the Quarterdeck Club. Please note that these items are not included in the meal plan. Each restaurant provides bar service. The Clubhouse Bar is open daily from 10am until 10:45pm. Happy Hour is from 5pm to 6:30pm on the Terrace. The English Carvery Bar is open from 4pm to 10:45pm (only on those days that the Carvery is open for dinner). The Pool Bar is open daily from 8am to 5:30pm (Seasonal). A Beach Attendant is also available on the North Beach by the Almond Walk to serve drinks while you lounge by the sea.
