Mélange restaurant is a mixture of the most renowned dishes from New Orleans' most infamous restaurants accented by some of the chef's own culinary creations amidst the backdrop of jazz. The restaurant is a celebration of New Orleans and of its reputation as one of the best destinations for food in the world. Special reservations available at chef’s table in the kitchen and reserve the secluded “cheater’s booth”, and semi-private wine room for private dining. Dinner reservations are recommended and jackets are not required. The Ritz-Carlton New Orleans offers the following bars: The Library - The former Library Lounge has been converted to a private membership-based club and is now called simply The Library, A Private Smoking Club. While the entire hotel is non-smoking, The Library is meant for those who choose to smoke. With the addition of a ventilation system and one hundred newly installed humidor boxes, members can enjoy their favorite cigar accompanied by their favorite spirit. Each month, there will be different tastings and seminars. Charter memberships as well as day passes are still available. On Trois - On Trois, formerly the Lobby Lounge, is characterized by elegant turn-of-the-century antiques. During the day, the lounge offers a refined setting for Afternoon Tea and at night, guests can order wine and champagne by-the-glass. It is located on the third floor lobby level of The Ritz-Carlton, New Orleans. Enjoy live music during the week in On Trois. Afternoon Tea is offered every Saturday afternoon from 1–3pm.
