Room amenities include air-conditioning, ceiling fan, cable TV, telephone, WiFi, private balcony, full kitchen (equipped with utensils, refrigerator, stove), iPod docks and DVD player. Rollaway beds and cribs are available upon request. Children Policy: Children under 6 years old will stay, play and eat free of charge and children 6-15 years old will be charged a children's rate. One Bedroom Suite - Separate living room with day-bed and dining room. Square footage: up to 540 sq. ft. Private air-conditioned bedroom with one king sized bed or two twin sized beds. Full bathroom with shower and bathtub. Maximum Occupancy: 2 adults and 3 children. Two Bedroom Suite - Private air-conditioned master bedroom complete with a king sized bed and full bathroom with shower and bathtub. Franklyn D. Resort offers the following restaurants: The Veranda - Situated on the boardwalk over the ocean, the Veranda restaurant serves International cuisine in a family atmosphere. Breakfast and lunch are served buffet-style. A la carte dinners are served 5 nights per week with sumptuous buffets on 2 nights including our Beach Buffet night where you dine on the shore by torch light & our famous Saturday Jamaican Buffet night. Fresh papaya, mangoes in season, colorful garden salads, succulent steaks, a variety of pasta dishes and indigenous Jamaican food are prepared just for you. The Pier Restaurant - The Italian fare is as delightful as the scenery. Dining at this adults-only, a-la-carte restaurant, is in a romantic atmosphere by the Caribbean Sea. Service is exceptional and parents will delight in the delectable Italian cuisine. There are elaborate antipasto displays including offerings of squid, a choice of salads, soups, great pasta and entrées and tempting desserts and cheeses. The restaurant is open for dinner five evenings per week, from 6:30pm-9:30pm. Kidz Buffet - After an energetic and active day in the sea and sun, kids can expect a great spread at the Kidz Buffet. A well- balanced buffet-style meal is served on tables just the right height. The menu is specially planned to suit little palates: spaghetti and meatballs, macaroni & cheese, chicken nuggets, fish fingers, soups, a selection of healthy salads, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, hot dogs and hamburgers are some of the specialties. The Kidz Buffet goes from 5:30pm-7pm daily. Fruits, juices, milk, our popular non-alcoholic Daiquiris, chocolate milk, ice cream and after-dinner dessert treats are also available. After dinner there is ping pong, pool, air hockey and foosball to keep the kids entertained until the Kiddies Disco opens at 7:30pm. Beach Grill - For all-day snacks, the beach grill is open from 11am-5pm daily. Featuring popular specialties like Jamaican beef patties, mouth-watering jerk pork and jerk chicken, simmered in your choice of mild to piquant sauces. There are also all-time favorites like pizzas, hamburgers, hot dogs and a salad bar. Overproof Restaurant– This adults only restaurant serves authentic Jamaican cuisine from escoveitched fish to braised oxtails to curried goat, all served with your choice of yummy sides such as fried plantains, rice and peas, sweet potatoes and yams.
