A large writing desk with high speed internet access and in-room fax machine. One double bed or one queen bed, approximately 225 square feet, view of inner court. Maximum occupancy of two adults. There are no two-bedded rooms or triple occupancy rooms in the Standard Room category. Standard rooms have either one double bed or one queen-size bed and rollaways can not be permitted. Fairmont Rooms - In addition to common amenities, they have a lounge table with two chairs. King or two doubles, approximately 290 square feet, inner court or city views. Maximum occupancy is three adults or two adults with two children. There is a charge for a rollaway bed. There is no additional charge for children under 17 years old when occupying the same room as parents or guardians. "Family Plan" rooms must be reserved in Fairmont category or higher. Fairmont Deluxe - More spacious version of Fairmont Rooms. King or two doubles, approximately 360 square feet, inner court or city views. Maximum occupancy is three adults or two adults with two children. Central Park Premier Room - Large open-concept rooms with a cozy sitting area that features a lounge table with two chairs and a beautiful view of Central Park. King or two doubles, approximately 400 square feet. Maximum occupancy is three adults or two adults with two children. Formerly Park View Room. Executive Suite - Ideal for families of up to three people. Based on a large open-concept style, these suites feature a lounging area with armchairs, sofa and coffee table. King, approximately 675 square feet, view of inner courtyard. Maximum occupancy is three adults or two adults with two children. Fifth Avenue Suites - Available as one or two bedroom suites. They feature a spacious living area, connected to a bedroom with full bathroom. King or two doubles, 800 square feet, view of Fifth Avenue and Pulitzer Fountain. Maximum occupancy is three adults or two adults with two children. Central Park Suite - Part of the movie "Home Alone 2" was filmed in a Central Park Suite. These suites consist of a full living room and a full bathroom. These suites are also available in two bedroom, two bathroom configuration. King bed, 800 square feet, view of Central Park. Maximum occupancy is three adults or two adults with two children. Plaza Suite - Consists of an alcove with a breakfast table for four people and non-working Italian marble fireplace, spacious bedroom and bathroom. These strikingly elegant suites have a unique layout, original artwork and custom-designed furniture. Two or three bedroom combinations are also possible. King, 900 square feet, views of Central Park or Fifth Avenue. Louis XV Suite - The historic Louis XV Suite overlooks Central Park, as well as the fabled Fifth Avenue. This luxurious one or two bedroom suite features a spacious livingroom and a dining room. King bed, 1300 square feet, views of Central Park. Maximum occupancy is three adults or two adults with two children. Frank Lloyd Wright Suite - The suite was named after America's most famous architect, Frank Lloyd Wright. That suite was his home during the construction of The Guggenheim Museum in the 1950s. It includes two bedrooms each with a bathroom, spacious livingroom, 12-foot ceilings, original hardwood floors and 3 non-functional marble fireplaces. The suite's decor is reflective of Wright's own design for the rooms when he lived there -- urban sophistication with oriental influence. The suite opens to a foyer with a Wright-inspired design on the marble floor and a gallery of framed Wright prints and sketches. The suite includes reproductions of Wright's furniture, fabrics and tableware that have been licensed by the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation. King in one room, two doubles in the other, 1765 square feet, views of Central Park and Fifth Avenue. Vanderbilt Suite - The Vanderbilt Suite was named after Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Gwynne Vanderbilt, the first family to sign the register and to become permanent residents of The Plaza. This suite can include up to 3 bedrooms along with a living room, dining room and kitchen. It also features a jacuzzi, non-functioning marble fireplace and 12-foot-high ceiling. King bed in each room, 2820 square feet, views of Fifth Avenue. Astor Suite - The magnificent Astor Suite features a very large living room, dining room for 10 people, full bedroom and bath. If booked as a 2 bedroom suite, a jacuzzi with a view of Central Park and steam shower is available. It can also be configured as a 3 bedroom suite. King-size canopy bed in the master bedroom, 2760 square feet, views of Central Park and Fifth Avenue. All rooms and suites at The Plaza offer the following amenities: High speed wireless internet service in every room, flat screen monitors, alarm clock-radio, Frette Bathrobes (plush terry cloth), on-command video with in room video games, crystal chandelier, iron and ironing board, refreshment center, newspaper (USA Today or New-York Times), safe (in-room), TDY access for hearing impaired, sewing kit, hair dryer, in-room business amenities, computer dataport, large writing desk, fax machine, two line speakerphone with voice-mail. Amenities on request: crib, non-working fireplace (limited-in Central Park Premier Rooms only), VCR, and bedboard. Specific bedding and/or special requests are fulfilled based on availability and cannot always be guaranteed. Dining - The Plaza Hotel New York, A Fairmont Hotel One CPS - One CPS is an old-fashioned trendy restaurant, open and airy atmosphere with modern and antique touches. The menu is casual but features new interpretations of old dishes, as well as an interesting mix of casual American cuisine. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Dressy casual, coat and tie not required. Reservations are highly recommended. The Oak Room - The Oak Room welcomes you for lunch, dinner and supper. Chef Marc Felix will dazzle you with his culinary creations. When it comes to dessert, we offer a tempting selection of flavored crme brule and The Plaza's famous cheesecake, so rich and creamy you will want to return for more. Open Fridays and Saturdays only for dinner. Jacket is not required, tie optional, no jeans or sneakers. The Palm Court - The Palm Court was modeled after the winter garden in London's Hotel Carlton and is long recognized as one of the premier meeting places in New York.
