A wide selection of all-inclusive resort companies in Mexico have arranged for COVID-19 tests to be administered to guests, at no charge, at the hotel. Many companies, as described below, are also covering the cost of an extended stay (including accommodations, meals and nonalcoholic beverages) for anyone who tests positive and must quarantine in the destination.
Note that the tests provided are antigen tests, which are accepted for international flights to the U.S. but are not accepted for flights to Canada (PCR tests are required for Canada). The requirements of other countries may vary.

ATELIER Playa Mujeres
Antigen tests are offered at the hotel at no charge to guests. If a guest receives a positive test result, the cost of quarantining at the hotel will be covered for up to 14 days for that person. Antigen tests are offered at the hotel at no charge for all bookings made before November 15, 2021. For bookings made November 15, 2021 or later, the test is complimentary for guests in Preferred Club rooms (the cost for all other guests is $35 per person). If a guest receives a positive test result, the cost of quarantining at the hotel will be covered for up to 14 days for that person and one companion in the same room. Club Solaris
Antigen tests are offered at the hotel at no charge for guests staying a minimum of three nights. If a guest receives a positive test result, that person and one companion can quarantine at the hotel for up to 14 days at a cost of $30 per person, per night. Antigen tests are offered at the hotel at no charge to two guests per room with a minimum stay of three nights (additional tests can be purchased). Offer does not have a published ending date.

Explorean, Fiesta Americana and Live Aqua (La Coleccion Resorts)
Antigen tests are offered at the hotel at no charge to guests. Upon arrival at the hotel, guests can purchase an insurance policy for $4 per room, per night. With this policy, any guest who receives a positive test result can quarantine at the hotel for $10 per person, per night, plus taxes. Offer applies until the CDC’s testing requirement is lifted.
Hard Rock All-Inclusive Resorts and UNICO 20°87° (AIC Hotel Group)
