Destinations Open to Visitors

COVID-19 vaccinations are underway in the U.S., Canada and other countries and will increase dramatically in the coming months. The chief science advisor of Operation Warp Speed, the U.S. government's expedited search for development and delivery of a vaccine, has said that every American who wants a vaccine will be able to get one by June. Health officials in Canada have said that all Canadians who want a vaccine will receive one by September.

The vaccine rollout marks the turning point in the battle against COVID-19 and the global travel industry is finally on a sure path to reopening. That reopening will take months to play out and will likely occur on a country-by-country basis.

The tropical destinations below are open now. You can use the Find a Deal box on the left for pricing, or click any link.

If you’re holding a future travel credit from a cancelled resort vacation that was originally booked through Vacations To Go, you can apply that credit to any resort stay booked at our low rates.

Note that starting January 26, all travelers ages two and older on international flights to the U.S. will be required to provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test (NAAT or antigen) taken no more than three calendar days prior to the flight. As an alternative to a negative test result, travelers may provide proof of a positive COVID-19 test taken no more than 90 days prior to the flight and a signed letter from a licensed healthcare provider clearing the individual for travel.

The required test results or signed letter may be in paper or electronic format and will be checked at the international airport by airline personnel. To see frequently asked questions about this CDC requirement, click here.

Travelers who test positive for COVID-19 before the international flight will be required to quarantine in the destination until they can meet one of the above requirements for travel.
