The British intelligence agent, code name Intrepid, headed the censorship station out of the Hamilton Princess during WW2. Stephenson was close friends to world renowned author; Sir Ian Fleming - who credited Stephenson as the 'real thing' when asked about his inspiration behind his famous spy, James Bond.
