Trapp Family Lodge has the best location in the Monteverde area. At only one mile from the famous Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve you can enjoy the the true sensation of being in direct contact with nature.The lodge has one main building and two adjacent ones, surrounded by beautiful gardens for your enjoyment and relaxation. It was built like a big chalet where you will feel not like in a hotel but at home; with personalize service, a restaurant with a cozy ambience and a great view of the forest. You will find exquisite resting areas, where you can just sit to chat and relax, have a drink, or read a good book.The lodge offers 28 rooms, in two categories, Superior Rooms in the main building, and Mountain Suites in the adjacent buildings. Both types boast generous spaces, with private bathroom, cable TV, phone, and two Queen-size beds. Superior rooms have a great view of the gardens, while the mountain suites, located in the higher parts of the property, will delight you with enchanting views of the mountains. Some of the rooms in the main building can accommodate families and wheelchair-accessible rooms are also available.The Hotel's restaurant offers an international menu for lunch and dinner and all types of breakfasts to choose from. Trapp Family Lodge is Certified for Sustainable Tourism (CST), as per the Costa Rican Board of Tourism (ICT).
