RIU Hotels & Resorts offers a large selection of all-inclusive properties on the beautiful beaches of Mexico, the Caribbean, Central America and Spain. The upfront rate includes your accommodations, meals, beverages, activities, entertainment and nonmotorized water sports.
You can go kayaking and snorkeling, lounge by a sparkling pool, soak in the fun at Splash Water World park, get a spa treatment, try a variety of dining venues (dinner reservations are not needed in the specialty restaurants) or dance to the rhythm of top DJs at "RIU Party." And there's always an inviting beach just steps away. Often three or four RIU properties are together in one large complex, where guests enjoy exchange privileges at the sister resorts.
The fully refurbished Riu Flamingos, a 4.5-star family-friendly property near Puerto Vallarta, reopened this past December with a sleek new design and brand-new dining options, such as an "American Country" restaurant and "Pepe's Food," a grill and taco station. A new sports bar, coffee bar and ice cream parlor are sure to delight guests as well.
Upgrades were made to rooms and to many facilities and amenities, such as the fitness center, the RIU Land kids club and the sprawling pool area, now with a new splash pool for younger guests. The resort continues to offer RIU Party, a thrilling night of music and dancing for all ages.
RIU also opened a property in Cancun's hotel zone in December. The 4.5-star Riu Ventura is located on Delfines Beach and offers 705 rooms, six swimming pools, Splash Water World park, clubs for kids and teens, a spa, eight restaurants and six bars. The sixth-floor swimming pool provides amazing views of the Caribbean. Plus, guests here have access to RIU Party events at nearby Riu Caribe (note that kids are not allowed at this resort's RIU Party).
In May of 2025, RIU opened a new all-inclusive resort in Jamaica -- Riu Palace Aquarelle. This family-friendly property is located roughly 30 minutes from the Montego Bay airport. It features more than 700 rooms, four swimming pools, a children's pool with waterslides, the Splash Water World park and activities like paddle surfing, catamaran sailing and volleyball. A variety of dining venues are available, ranging from live cooking stations and buffets to restaurants serving Japanese fare and Jamaican specialties.
