Amazing Resort Destinations in Mexico

Mexico's sunny weather and pristine beaches draw many visitors to its shores every year. The country offers a wide variety of hotels at affordable prices, and all-inclusive resorts are especially popular. At all-inclusive properties, one rate that's paid upfront covers your accommodations, meals, snacks, beverages and many activities.

We offer all-inclusive resorts in two main areas in Mexico -- the Yucatan Peninsula facing the Caribbean Sea and the Pacific coast. Click any link for more information and to price a stay, with or without airfare.

Yucatan Peninsula
Cancun sits at the peninsula's northeastern tip and offers sun-drenched beaches and many shops, nightclubs and restaurants. Playa del Carmen has smaller, low-rise hotels, and you can visit nearby Mayan ruins and stroll the pedestrian-only Fifth Avenue. A short ferry ride from Playa is the isle of Cozumel, a favorite diving destination since marine explorer Jacques Cousteau shot a documentary there in 1961; it boasts miles of protected coral reefs and more than 250 species of tropical fish.

Puerto Aventuras is an upscale residential and resort community with a marina, walking and biking trails, a nine-hole golf course and sport fishing, diving and sailing. Tulum is famous for its Mayan ruins set on cliffs overlooking the Caribbean, and it's near the Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that encompasses tropical forests, marshes and beaches.

Pacific Coast
Puerto Vallarta is situated between Sierra Madre and Bahia de Banderas and offers countless water and land sports to choose from, as well as a thriving art scene and rich history. At the tip of the Baja Peninsula is Los Cabos, a 20-mile coastal area home to challenging golf courses, desert landscapes and some of the world's best deep-sea fishing. Prime whale-watching season runs from December through March here.

Other sport fishing meccas in the region include Manzanillo, known as the "Sailfish Capital of the World" and host to several national and international fishing tournaments throughout the year, and Mazatlan, where you can also visit historical sites, crafts markets and the Pacifico Brewery.

Finally, laidback beach towns like Huatulco and Ixtapa feature opportunities for snorkeling, fishing, scuba diving and other water activities.
